Pie a Pi!
On Saturday October 21st, the Pi pledge class of the Epsilon Upsilon chapter of AEPi held their “Pie a Pi” fundraiser. Coinciding with the AEPi Ivy League Summit, the pledges volunteered to get whipped cream pies thrown in their faces for donations to Save a Child’s Heart – an Israeli organization whose mission is to improve pediatric cardiac care for children in developing countries.
The twelve pledges raised $260 in the three hours which the event took place. Pledgemaster Ben Boult SM ‘14 and Rush Chair Adam Fields BK ’12 also demonstrated their true commitment to the cause by volunteering to be pied.
In what can only be described as true pride, the pledges look forward to continuing their lifetime commitment to Alpha Epsilon Pi.
